SSAB offers hundreds of summer jobs for students from different educational backgrounds. Summer jobs are mainly located at our Finnish and Swedish production sites. These jobs provide students with practical work experience in the industry.

We are seeking students with ambition, a positive attitude and a sense of responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others.

Dozens of college students graduate each year after completing a thesis or an internship with SSAB. Thesis subjects vary, but are often connected to ongoing process or product development projects. Many students write their thesis based on their learnings from working a summer jobb at SSAB.

Internships are also avaliable through select secondary and vocational schools.

SSAB has various training programs. Applicants can apply for these opportunities separately during the application period.

Thoughout the year, hundreds of students and teachers visit SSAB's production facilities sites to learn about our operations and explore potential jobs in the steel industry. Mill visits are coordinated locally.

SSAB collaborates extensively with students and educational institutions, mostly those in technical fields of study. In communities near our largest production facilities, we participate in career fairs, where students have a chance to meet SSAB professionals from different functions.
