Aerial work platforms and mobile elevated work platforms can lift higher and farther with Strenx® steel, which comes in yield strengths of up to 1300 MPa. Strenx® can be used in the booms and work baskets, as well as in chassis and outriggers to lower overall weight and improve resistance to loads introduced by longer booms.
Strenx® high-strength steel plate, tubes and hollow sections in reduced thicknesses can benefit boom lifts (telescopic or articulating knuckle booms), spider lifts, scissor lifts, crawler lifts, towable aerial lifts, cherry pickers and more. Thanks to its tight thickness and flatness tolerances, Strenx® steel enables fabricators to accurately bend the components needed.
